About us

The Danish Social Innovation Club is Denmark’s largest volunteer platform for social innovation.

Who are we ?

We are a professional, voluntary and non-profit organisation run by both, ambitious Danish, international students and recent graduates.

DANSIC aims to assist and inspire different actors in society, with the use of social innovation and interdisciplinary work, to solve some of the greatest current societal challenges.

We do this in the hopes of creating a society that is socially, environmentally and economically sustainable.

Dancing Hands

DANSIC’s mission is to deliver an annual event focused on current societal issues through building partnerships with national and international governments, businesses and/or non-profit organisations.

These events are held to raise awareness and investigate potential solutions for challenging systemic and environmental issues whilst prioritising social progress. DANSIC aims to engage in these challenges through a collective approach that focuses on the mobilisation and empowerment of student volunteers.

This diverse platform stimulates inspiration and innovation that can redefine social, environmental and economic sustainability.

The overall vision of DANSIC is to contribute to the creation of a society that is socially, environmentally and economically sustainable.

To achieve this, DANSIC wishes to create a movement in society that educates citizens on a global scale of the positive impact that social innovation can bring forward. In doing so,  we want to inspire the creation of new products, services, organizational forms and business models that are targeted to solve current societal challenges.
